Christ's Way of Love

Assembling goodie bags to share God's love in the community
Community members gather around a table, collaborating on a project that embodies sharing God's love.

The "Way of Love" is a spiritual framework developed by The Episcopal Church to guide individuals in cultivating a Jesus-centered life. It is structured around seven core practices, each of which fosters deeper engagement with God, community, and the world. These practices are designed to be integrated into daily life and pursued in community, forming a lifelong journey of faith.

Integrating the Way of Love into Daily Life

The Way of Love is not meant to be a rigid checklist but a holistic and flexible framework that can be adapted to each person’s spiritual journey. While these seven practices can be pursued individually, they are most effective when lived out in community. Churches, small groups, and faith-based communities are encouraged to support one another in these commitments, sharing experiences and encouraging growth.

By following this spiritual path, individuals can cultivate a deeper relationship with God, align their lives more closely with Christ's teachings, and contribute to a world filled with love, justice, and peace.

We will be outlining the seven Ways of Love in our blog, but for more information, go to https://www.episcopalchurch.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/way_of_love_introduction.pdf

The call to a Jesus-centered life, living in love and faith is important in community. The Way of Love as a spiritual path that guides us toward a Jesus-centered life through seven core practices: Turn, Learn, Pray, Worship, Bless, Go, and Rest.
