Families are at the heart of our community. We believe that faith is best nurtured together, where every member of the family can feel loved, included, and valued. From infants to grandparents, there’s a place for everyone in our church, and we are committed to creating a welcoming environment where families thrive spiritually and relationally.

Worshiping Together as a Family
Our worship services are designed to be a space where families can come together to grow in their faith. We love seeing parents, kids, and even grandparents worshiping side by side, singing together, praying together, and experiencing God’s presence as a family unit. Children are always welcome in our main worship services to fully participate in the life of the church.
For younger children, we offer a special Junior Church option during the service. After the first scripture reading, preschool through 5th-grade kids can join a safe, engaging space where they’ll hear Bible stories, enjoy activities, and share snacks. All of our teachers are trained and background-checked to ensure your child’s safety and well-being.
Our steps to provide a safe space for your family extends to our belief to safeguard your child's image. We encourage children to be their true self in worship, and we respect that not every moment should be immortalized on video or broadcast to the world. This is why we do not livestream our full worship service, but rather offer a modified yet meaningful online worship option. We also will not post any identifiable pictures of your child without your explicit permission on our website or social media channels.

Growing Together in Faith
At Family of Faith, we know that family life is busy and often challenging, but it’s also one of the most rewarding ways to experience God’s love. That’s why we strive to support families on their unique faith journeys. Through engaging small groups, family-friendly events, and opportunities to serve together, we provide ways for families to connect with each other and deepen their faith.
We also believe that children are not just the future of the church—they are an important part of our church today. We encourage kids to participate in worship, serve in age-appropriate ways, and grow in their relationship with Christ.
A Place Where All Families Thrive
Every family looks different, and we celebrate that diversity at Family of Faith. Whether you’re a single parent, blended family, multigenerational household, or any other type of family, you are welcome here. Our community is built on the belief that all families are loved by God and have a unique role in the kingdom of heaven on earth.
Beyond Sunday
Our commitment to families goes beyond Sunday morning. We host events and programs designed to help families grow closer to one another and their community. From service opportunities like food drives and Habitat for Humanity projects to fun events like Trunk or Treat and PRIDE Week celebrations, there are plenty of ways for families to get involved, give back, and build lasting relationships.
At Family of Faith UMC, we don’t just call ourselves a family—we live it out. We are here to walk alongside you in every season of life, providing encouragement, love, and opportunities to grow together in Christ. Whether you’re looking for a church home or just exploring faith as a family, there's a place for you here.
