Worship is a sacred practice where believers come together to praise, thank, and experience God’s presence. It can happen in a church service, a small group, or even in quiet personal moments with God. At its heart, worship strengthens faith, nurtures belonging, and offers the chance to receive the sacraments, hear Scripture, and lift prayers as the unified body of Christ. Worship matters because it not only roots us in our own faith journey but also connects us to the global Church. It can take many forms—traditional liturgy, contemporary services, or even personal expressions through music, art, or time in nature. To engage more fully, we can participate with intention: singing wholeheartedly, praying thoughtfully, listening closely to Scripture and sermons, and reflecting on how God’s Word speaks to our daily lives. Worship doesn’t end on Sunday, either—it extends into the week as we pray, read Scripture, sing hymns, serve others, or simply spend time with God in stillness. Truly, any moment we set aside for God can be an act of worship.
